Lead: The Habitats Trust Grants Programme
Position Summary:
The incumbent must view this as a long-term career opportunity wherein and s/he will be expected to manage the operations of THT - Grants. S/he will be managing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring & evaluating The Habitats Trust’s Grants initiative, helping realize its overall vision and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- •The incumbent will be responsible for implementation, management and monitoring of The Habitats Trust’s Grants Programme. The goal of the grants is to provide financial assistance for conservation of lesser known species and critical habitats and build capacities of grantees.
- •Manage Grants programme and team to implement grants, ensure grantee compliances, coordinate with partners, vendors and suppliers.
- •Providing information and support to grant recipients for on-ground implementation.
- •Evaluation, reporting, and coordination with grant recipients.
- •Create Grant reports and compendium.
- •Building and maintaining relationships with the grantees.
- •Assist the Head – THT in formulation and management of the Grant budgets.
- •Any other work assigned by the Head - THT.
Must Haves:
- •Around 7 -10 years of managerial and conservation-focused experience including – managing programs.
- •Should have excellent project management, collaboration, and coordination skills.
- •Knowledge of and experience with monitoring and evaluation of programs / projects.
- •Effective written and oral communication skills are needed; ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
- •Preferable Master’s Degree in relevant discipline (biological science, environmental studies, ecology and conservation.
