Position Summary:
The person should be willing to stay and travel across coastal Karnataka and Goa almost entirely through
their tenure. S/he should be comfortable working with the community. The position involves driving the local team for timely completion of deliverables. It entails management and problem solving in a dynamic onfield environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- •Building connections with local organisations for a potential on-ground partner for the project
- •Building and on-boarding a team for survey data collection .
- •Managing on-field data collection and logistics across sites while ensuring data quality.
- •Ensuring that time-lines for deliverables are being met by on-field teams, which includes data collection
and desk-work .
- •Coordinating with the local partner organisations, and the on-field team.
- •Reporting to and coordinating with the CBS team.
- •Assist with qualitative psychological research as required (training will be provided).
- •Data collection as required.
- •Any other relevant task assigned by the lead of the CBS team.
Must have:
- •Fluency in speaking, reading and writing Kannada/Tulu/Goan Konkani (at least one).
- •Fluency in speaking, reading and writing English.
- •Willingness to stay on and travel across field sites.
- •Good interpersonal and communication skills for on-ground management and coordination. Those with relevant experience with managing teams or on-field coordination will be preferred.
- •A Bachelors’/Masters’ degree in any discipline. Candidates with a social science degree/ relevant background in social science will be preferred.
